Organic Baby receiving blankets

My boy loves his baby blanket!! The more I wash it the softer it gets... This plaid pattern is beautiful and the generous size is just perfect. I am planning on adding more articles to complement the blanket and cloth wipes. I love working with hemp fleece, it is breathable, super soft, durable, not to mention sustainable. This is the new addition to our CurlyMonkey Collection. Handmade with love and care.

Slave Chocolate

With Halloween around the corner, millions of bars of chocolate will be sold and given to our children. I love chocolate and I don't wait for Halloween to eat some. I usually like my (organic) dark chocolate with 73% cocoa, but occasionally I would buy some milk chocolate from Nestle or Mars...
... until today. Watch this video to know why I won't buy again from those manufacturers, they are responsible for the use of forced or slaved child labor in picking the ingredients of our beloved chocolate bars.

Paso Pacifico Update

For all my friends who asked me how the silent auction went, here is the (late) update. I am very happy to announce that our Flock of Sea turtles organic onesie helped raise $50. The event was a success and in all the auction raised $1000 for sea turtles conservation. Paso Pacifico is helping to set aside critical tropical forest and is currently partnering with landowners to establish over 2000 acres of protected land.

Blog action day on Climate change

Today is Blog Action Day on the issue of Climate Change. This December world leaders will gather in Copenhagen to negotiate a global response to climate change. As a world leader in greenhouse gas pollution as well as clean energy technology, the United States needs to take bold action by implementing comprehensive clean energy policies to curb emissions

It is always time to take action

Los Angeles- New York

For all our friends who asked about our trip Los Angeles-New York, here are finally some pics! It took us 6 days to reach our destination. It all began like this: we rented the trailer:

We did LA-Arizona. The landscape is changing

and I like the small little clouds

Then in Texas, flat tire! Twice! We are in the middle of nowhere...

The giant cross in Oklahoma:

And my camera is dead! It was an easy and nice trip, considering that we had a 5 yo and a 9 mos baby on board. NY, NY, here we are!
